Well I made a commitment to buy my buddies '68 Cutlass so guess I better start learning about it. :)

Can anyone recommend a good A-body forum to join?

Oldspower is full of asses, believe me. They aren't that nice a bunch of guys.

Lots of douche bags there. I found that out when I had my 403 Olds powered 79 TA.

that board is filled with the widest array of automotive knowledge- and every other kind of knowledge, actually- that i've seen online, and since a 68 Cutlass is pretty much the same car as a 68 Chevelle it's the first place i'd start asking questions.

I wanted a 68 for my first car and ended up with a 76. It was also nice looking. The configuration is very similar between G and A bodies other than the obvious sizes.

The first car I ever test drove was a '68 442. Ended up with a '65 as my first car.
