I checked part GM # 25525272 (given to me by a TB board member) (thank you very much!) and checked it out at gmpartsdirect.com........They had it in stock as a hose assembly for $53.75 (or so).......Anyway, my question.....is this the hose assembly from the back of the compressor to the dryer(accumulator) including the hard lines? Any help would be appreciated as I need to replace my leaking lines soon in preparation for summer cruising..........By the way my A/C has been converted to R-134.........

Thanks guys!!

The part number is the right one. A quick fix to picking up another pair of stock hoses is to recrimp the shells. That should take care of the leaks around the shells. Also if you pick up new hoses, make sure they are upgraded ie; teflon barrier hoses, steel crimps, new style compressor manifold, etc.:D

You might as well change the condensor while your at it. R-134 is alot less efficient, as you will find out once you idle the car in traffic! I am beta testing a new parallel flow condensor custom made for TR's. However its still cold here and wont have it in soon. But stay tuned! IT is under $200

hey when you say custom made, do you mean that the condensor is made to adapt to the existing suction and discharge lines?

Thats correct. I will try and get you a pic.

Tried to email you a pic your email is no good???????

We are underway on this project, and are perfecting the brackets. For anyone having trouble making R134 work on their cars, this condenser is the answer. You all will start to see more on this topic in the near future.
Thanks,
Brett

Hey guys,

I converted my K5 blazer to 134 (and will be doing so with my GN soon). I changed the condenser to the 134 style - twice as many fin count, but the best thing I did was a "variable orifice tube"

A regular one is like 5-8 bucks and this golden gem was 55. It flows like 40% more at idle which gives you much colder temps at the vents. This change alone dropped my vent temps 15 degrees at idle (same temp, humidity, etc outside).

It is the best investment I made in my A/C system by far - It will actually give me a headache at times - even in 110 AZ heat!

Hope this helps,

Vic
