dude,I used my alky to richen up the mix--how do these guys think it will lean it out?wont adding any kind of fuel always richen things up?Razor if you happen to see this--what do you think?They also mention WI forums.
 
I read all that stuff, you tune the same 11.3-5 i use and razor uses it equivalent of .78-8 lamba. ITs confusing but just tune the same as normal.

Alky is a fuel,, so the mixture will richen. But many ways it can be used, I use it for knock suppression.. if I have to blow in a zillion liters to get the knock sensor to zero.. i'll pull fuel out so the zillion liters keeps the AFR nice and tight.

Nice and tight varies.. :wink: as one car will respond to 12.4, another to 11.1. Start at 11.1.. work your way up.. if it makes the same power at 11.3 as it does at 12.0.. why run it at 12.0?

That is confusing. I have an LM1 and just assumed that injecting alky would lower the AFR (haven't installed my kit yet), but according to that thread the displayed AFR will increase! I don't understand that unless you are changing the lambda multiplier when you inject the alky.
 
Evo-adding a slightly smaller supercharger pulley got me an AFR of 12.8 to1.I installed the Alky injection,with the small 375 nozzle and with a 50/50 mix I got down to 12.5 to1.Then I went to near 100% alky and ended up with 11.9 or 12.0 to 1. The kit comes with bigger nozzles and I can still increase pump preassure wich would let me go even richer.The only thing confusing is what that guy on the LM1 forum is saying.As it goes now I'm just keeping things safe with the AFR meter.I dont know where my car makes the most power.YET
