Good news! the car runs and starts. but it runs terribly rich at 40psi rail pressure with the line on...about 45psi line off. the needle was very erratic. oh well...I got that obstacle down. and the car idles really nice. now here's the crappy ass part. the kenne bell chip I had in the car finally crapped out. I put back the stock one and the car idles a little better.
I'm still having the stumbling and misfiring and backfiring. the only code I have since starting the car is a 14 *CTS* The car is running pig rich but never came around to lowering fuel pressure. In my experience with my alltrac...the CTS was also controlling the fueling. my scanner was reading 304*
on the coolant sensor...but doesnt a lower temp reading make more fuel? and a hotter engine leans out?
anyways..more on the temp sensor itself...I came around to it and saw that tat the connectors were brittle when I pulled it out and it broke on the harness side. **any of you guys have a cts connector to spare?** I have a spare cts on the side which I'm gonna get to this weekend. Any more ideas on the stumbling and backfiring?
