Some of you that follow NHRA drag racing may have heard of nitro funny car driver Bob Bode. I've worked on Bodes crew for the past five years and this year has been our best season ever. The car has been qualifying solidly at every race and we won our first national event this year in Minnesota.

As a result we've been nominated by Full Throttle energy drink as one of four funny car teams to win the hardest working crew of the year award.

Here are some pics of the car.

Our crew performed flawlessly in Brainerd to defeat Cruz Pedregon, Bob Tasca, Tim Wilkerson, and Fast Jack Beckman on our way to the winners circle.

We completely tear down and rebuild the engine after every pass, in less than one hour. To do this four times without any mistakes on race day makes us all proud.

Nice meeting you today in the trailer, at Pomona. To bad the car didn't go from A to B, but not many cars did with the greasy track. Maybe you could do us So Cal guys (including John Force) a favor and take out Matt Hagan. The first round would be nice to do this in. We're counting on you.

Nice job today in qulifying. A 4.153 @ 293.66 to put you guys in the #8th spot for now. That should give you somthing to work off of. Glad to see the track coming around.

Wow thanks for the great response on the voting! I really do appreciate it.
They're announcing the winner at the awards banquet today, I'm hoping they post the winners on nhra.com today.

I just found out the winners also receive a bonus check from Full Throttle for
$25k to split among the crew guys, I knew there was a bonus check involved but had no idea it was that much.

If we win, I'm spending it all on my Buick...
