adjusting timing

I'm still learning the ropes and have a basic MAF translator on my car as well as a Powerlogger. Do any of these offer the ability to adjust the timing up top a few degrees? I'm essentially looking to retard about 4 degrees of timing to alleviate some knock I have been getting.

the tt chip can adjust timing in 1-2 and 3-4 ...
the version of the chip will determine how much you can adjust and what you need to do to change it
