After Turbo rebuild, is this normal?

Hey guys hows everyone? I just recently had my stocker rebuilt by Limit Engineering and once I finally got it back i noticed 2 things.
1) where the actuator goes one hole was stripped (no biggie)
2) the impellar has some play. I can hear nick the housing when i spin it. I dont think this is good. Amost feel as bad as the one I sent him. Any guidence is appreciated.

No No good the impellar should never hit the housing on a fresh rebuild. where did you have it done ?

Learned a valuable lesson, now all our turbos will go to Limit.

with crappy quality like that. be very careful when they finally get the housing clearance right, we found the turbo was not even close to being balanced. when out of balance they groan when you bring the boost up slowly. if it groans it will not last....

Just went through something simular with a local rebuilder.

Learned a valuable lesson, now all our turbos will go to Limit.

with crappy quality like that. be very careful when they finally get the housing clearance right, we found the turbo was not even close to being balanced. when out of balance they groan when you bring the boost up slowly. if it groans it will not last....

I did the right thing and sent it to LIMIT ENGINEERING out in AZ.. I spoke to Chopper and said send it to him. The product that came back looked great but like I said the play is incredible. I am very unhappy w them because I had to call them for my turbo. He had it sitting and never called me. Things like this piss me off. My car is my only car and this has been laid up bc of this turbo for sometime. Im calling him today and see what he says.
