Just drove around town for about an hour with the downpipe open and went by all the local hangouts...it's so funny how people just drop what they are doing and look and stare at my car...there was this massive group of people looking at some older corvette with the hood open and when i drove by everyone just stopped looking at the vette and looked at me with faces...i gave them a little turbo whistle needless to say...after my girlfriend dumped me last night i am doing ok so far i think...feels good to take the good ol buick out

These cars sound really good with the downpipe open,
definitely turns some heads. I wish I had the nuts to drive on the
street with an open pipe, I'm too worried about getting pulled
over though. I think it's time to order an electric exhaust
cutout and make a little noise

some woman in a 99 or 01 cobra convertable was stalking me but then she turned off after a while...other than that nobody wanted a piece

i am ordering one of those electric exhaust cutouts very soon...that is so cool to be able to open and close the dump on demand like that

I heard & saw the cutout in action when MARK H brought his car to the NEBRA picnic last year & demonstrated the cutout.

Sounds great!!!! The switch over happens fast.

It is a mod I have been thinking about so I can put my CAT back on.

ive been driving my car open for 4 months or so now, i even drive onto base with it that way, cause if you feather it while passing cops or going by gate guards, its no louder than a 70s glasspack car....
but yes, itsnt it sweet to turn heads like that....i even had a wrx "blow off his valve" at me the other day...i was like PLEEEEZ!

You know, I have this friend that was dating a bipolar chic. One day he was the King, a God, The Master...the next day she was greeting him at the door with a kitchen knife.

Then there is always that time of the month when most male Turbo Buick owners get the most accomplished on their cars. It's those 3-5 days when we keep the garage doors down and the radio cranked and live in total isolation.

If you guys are even in Northern California, I have a few I will give you to take home. It would be nice to feel secure enough to sleep with my windows open at night again. LMAO. Sorry for al of you going thru the growing pains of relationships. It can suck really hard. But then again, an uncorked engine is always an instant cure for whatever ails you. I used to go air out my Kawi 750 triple when I had a break up in the 70's. Cops never did like the fact they could hear those three chambers, but could never see where it was.
