I was at school. csulb. me and my girl made our way to the top of a parking structure at 2pm, no one was there we were the only ones. Normal flights as usual till about 2:10ish then the air went dead. a group of 3 guys with a sony movie camera and a 15 megapixel camera showed up. There were military planes cruising at high alts, one of the guys showed me close ups. Their flight path was directly over the airport and we thought we saw a few cruising down south east towards beach cities. No pictures of jets though but the air planes that were cruising one did have a satellite on the top of it, that was trick. After smoking a cig my girl pointed out to me that 3 narc cars just pulled up and about 7 gentlemen walked out and into the parking structure wearing black shirts and dark paints. I bet my lady they would all come to top floor in a few minutes, and we made a friendly college man woman bet. Anyways right on time they walked up and right past us, and did the tough guy jock huddle at the other end of the outside structure in the shade, lazies I could have had a heat seeking rocket launcher in the prius! Anyways at least I won the bet. So yea dead air for a solid 40 minutes after 2:10 then we saw a plane and we all started taking media, but it wasn't air force one. It was an red white and blue painted plane but it had what looked to be like an upside down flag but all white and only a few strips. The guys camera was able to grab the tail number, N906FJ. The picture was weird looking, anyone of you ladies know how to look up a tail number? Airforce one arrived soon after, right on time as predicted. The pilot is known in his career for being on exact time and he was. AF1 flew over my head @ 2:59 from csulb.

his squad of heli's 5 of em, that left soon after was a nice treat too, they flew low and the media guys were stoked on the coverage.

Having ANY Pres around is a PITA.
I had a friend that lived in the same community in San Clemente as Nixon. He hated it when he was in town.
Once we were NB on the 405 in Ftn vly and noticed cops on every bridge and all the SB on ramps closed, then about 3 miles of empty fwy. Then this 5 limo caravan, Nixon, with a few dozen cops, then another ~3 miles of empty fwy.
Talk about traveling in a vacuum. 6 miles of empty fwy in OC. Only a Pres can do that.

Nancy Pelosi has a private jet & doesn't hesitate to use military transports on her jaunts.
