Single is fine for what your trying to do. If you put the sensors in the right location you can see where your at and make decisions accordingly.

On the datalog above, the twin was added upstream from the single. On the Buick thats going to take some experimentation, if needed at all. I have done plenty of Buick apps.. single nozzle will be fine to 124-126 in the 1/4 rule of thumb. Past that.. good question.

Look at the other thread, Bob was running low 10's on a single at over 135.

People should setup their egt to read pre-turbo. That reading is going to be the important one to track, as far as gauging combustion temps go. If you're running short tube headers, and most of you guys are, putting the egt in at the collector, before the turbo should be fine. Although having a sensor about 4 inches down from an exhaust port would be an interesting reading to compare the two locations.

razor, the egt probe is preturbo, i have replaced the sensors thinking my low readings were sensor error but the new sensor read the same.

Does your sensor read ambient temperature correctly like in the morning before you start up the car?

Mine on cruise would read 1100-1200. WOT 1490-1650 depending on timing/boost.
