All carb'd turbo compressor and turbine wheels same?

Hello All,

I have a list of Garrett numbers for the '78-'83 turbos and CHRAs. I notice that
the '83 fwd turbo is different. I've been told that the '83 fwd turbo has a 60 trim
wheel, and a .60 A/R compressor housing. I know the .60 A/R is for sure, but
I'm looking for verification on the 60 trim wheel.

Anyone know?

When I compiled a list of GM numbers, I found that GM specified the same CHRA for all 1979/83, RWD or Riv. Sorry I don't know to confirm the trim.

Hi Rich,

That's what I always thought. This list has the '83 only fwd CHRA as different.
Maybe it's a misprint.
