Aluminum main bearings???

Anyone here use the Sealed Power aluminum main bearings on their LC2? I was checking out a set at Oreily's tonight and they look pretty tough. In the past I've used the tri-metal main bearings, but am not so impressed with their duribility. I'm looking for pros/cons to the all aluminum bearings.

I found they distort when the caps torqued down
