Ok all I did was maf pipe w 3.5 maf and translator w original cold air kit. Both maf pipe and cold air purchased from tr custom parts. Great vendor by the way.. she seems to spool faster on the higway now. Boost comes on a lot stronger. Im not one of these u feel eveey little improvement ppl. Im hard pressed to believe what they say abput small mods but by god I ffel the dam difference. The car wasdecent and fun now its closer to being dangerous. :)
With these simple mods ive done maf chip inj cold air kit. Cant wait till the alradoco w dual fans and my dse suspension comes in... ohhh and the winter will bring exhaust down pipe turbo and trans rebuild!
 
I guess w my old 86 somethings were done but w this car its my first true stockerband I was impressed now im in awe. Its like when the new gf keeps doing nice things till she shows her true colors hahhajaja

Hahahhaha... no track time yet. Not trying to push next yrs trans rebuild into this year.. ahhahaha
 
There will be a difference. What you feel is real improvements. Intake charge change and exhaust changes such as cat removal, downpipe and exhaust are the only small changes you will feel.
 
Maybe the old maf wasnt as efficient as it could be and in turn causing and unknown performance loss and he just got it back with the new parts? Idk
 
MAF either works or it doesn't .

My stock MAF worked fine but the LT1 and translator worked better and idled better too all else being equal when I switched it out. Especially when it comes to stock MAFs, I have to disagree with the above statement, otherwise it seems to be true.

BUT would a stock car run any faster with it ?? Hell did yours go any faster with just a MAF change ?? :confused:

I never said it ran faster, just better. Stock MAF not used at WOT anyway. Uncorking the intake side does allow for a little better spool, but that's butt dyno talk :eek:
