In the diagram below, can I hook up the side port of the wastegate to the compressor housing side of the turbo (boost line) instead of manifold pressure as listed in the diagram? Has anyone done this before? I remember reading this somewhere but just want confirmation if that will work as as well.

I just confirmed this.
The line marked Manifold Pressure on the side of the wastegate, will work with these two sources.

Compressor cover hose barb fitting.
Intake manifold fitting.

The AMS will control the pressure applied to the top of the wastegate.

Will compressed air work just as good as co2? My buddy came up with the idea to Mcgyver a setup that would keep a constant pressure of over 50psi and end the co2 refills. So is there any downside to doing so?
