I have read many many posts about b/s. I know do a search  but I want to be positive.

Bottom line what is the perfect back spacing for our cars.

I wont to make sure and understand prefectly clear on this before order new rims.

Thanks :)

What size wheels and tires are you thinking about? It makesa big differance.

Sorry to bud in,but if you have the info handy for 17x8(front)and 17x9 or 17x9.5 for the rear that would help me out ..thanks :D

A good 17" combo is 17x8 W/4" BS and 235 45 17 up front and 17x9.5 w/4.75 BS and 275 40 17 out back.

2 Applications

1st application is for a street car.
Smallest wheel size will be a 18 biggest 20 inch.
I know 20's  (Trust me it will look MEAN)
I want a total original look for it, no copies from pics I've seen on internet!
With the right tire combo it can be

2nd application is for my race car.

Ordering new weld's 15's. NO FRAME WORK NO LIP ROLLING
Have fronts just need rears.

Keeping old 15x10's for   ! Just in case need street tires

I have a friend with 20's and it does look mean! I'm more of a 17-18" fan because they fill up the wheel well just right IMO. My car has 18x8.5 and 18x9.5 combo and is lowered just right for my taste. My friends 20's are 20x8.5 and 20x10's. There is pic's of both cars here. http://www.t6p.com/forums/showthread.php?t=6619

K.i.s.s./ The Real Deal/ No B.S.

:o 99.44% of the time pick a wheel with 1/2 the width for back spacing, period....... I.E. 3 1/2" backspacing for a 7" wide wheel or 5" B.S. for a 10" wide wheel. As you can see, this has to be rocket science. :D :D :D

I agree with that statement! :D

THanks

Thanks that makes it simple enough.

BTW, Red I guess I will just have to show you just how good the PROPER 20 can look. (LOL)
