Went to PepBoys and bought some 3/8" and 5/16" brake lines and the brass couplers to make my main and return fuel lines for my Camaro swap. After crawling up under the wrecked Donor and hacking the fuel lines about a foot from the end (engine side) I noticed that the stock return line is TINY! What is this thing, 1/4"?!? What happens if I get the adapters and use the 5/16" lines in place? I'm still going to use a 3/8" main with a stock style fuel filter and an adj. FP regulator w/ a Walbro 340. Another question, do I still need to use the couplers when connecting the return line (So it's all hard line) or can I use some sections of F.I. hose to connect them? TIA

Just an idea!

Eric.....I don't mean to shoot down your idea, but why don't you just buy some SS Braided line for the fuel system?

It will be alot easier to run then the brake line that you have to bend, and it also looks very clean when its installed...

I don't know what size some guys are using for the fuel systems on our cars, but im sure a -4 or -6 (ask around for actual size) would be the ideal line for the custom set up that you are looking at doing.
