this isn't my car i'm just trying to get an idea guys..any help is appreciated.

87 GN,TE-44,18 psi, duttweiler cam(don't know specs but it's not all that mild of a cam),duttweiler intercooler, art carr trans with 2800-3000 rpm stall and shift kit, line lock, drag radials, rear air bags, two fuel pumps and some other small mods like valve cover breathers and K&N cone filter..can anyone give me a rough figure of what this combo will run? I know there are probably many factors but a rough figure is fine.

Thanks again,
Jeff

You need to look at the "limiting Factor" or Factors of a combo to know how quick (potentially) it can run. Limiting factors are things like injectors, tire height, type of heads, boost level, gas used, turbo size, etc.

In the combo above, assuming the longblock is stock, with a TE44 @ 18 psi, the quickest it would run is low 12's (with race gas and chip). If the injectors were stock, they and the boost would be the limiting factors.

If the converter is a non lockup art carr and the tires are 26" tall, I would also say it will have a hard time running faster than 110 mph with those mods. "two fuel pumps" usually means they slapped on an external puller to the clogged, dead stocker, which is not good.

On pump gas with a 93 chip, I would bet against the car running quicker than a 13.2.

thanks for the info..the car does have a chip but i'm not sure what chip. It also has a hooker exhaust I believe. And the whole two fuel pumps thing had me wondering the same thing. Oh well i might buy the thing if i get the money together.
