Need some ideas on what to look for. Recently my car was running very rich, so I disconnected Direct scan and the car starts running fine. Everything looks good, but anything more than 31 PSI static FP and the car runs rich. Before my problem occured the car ran fine at 41 psi static. The plugs look perfect, but again I am only running 31 psi FP.
Another question is how big of a difference is there between AC R 42 TS and the R 43 TS? I realize the 43's are a hotter plug, but how much of a difference is there? I ask this question because I changed from the 42's to the 43's about the same time I had the problem of running rich. I lowered the FP to see if that would help with rich problem. When I figured out what the problem was with Direct scan, I never had to raise the FP back up. So even with car running good it just doesn't run as hard as it was before with the lower FP. Hope this isn't confusing, and if you need clarification on what happened please email.
