Any interest in doing a TurboBuick Fantasy Football league?

I'm down for preferably Monday the 2nd. But I dont know what time. I also work from 2pm-10pm. So not sure when I could do the picking. Maybe I'll have a backup not sure.

What about Labor Day sept 2nd? Most people will be off work. We could do it at 8pm est. that way it's gives time to the people that go away for the weekend to be home, unpacked, and prepared for the draft.

Yes. Just be logged in for the first couple rounds. If you close the draft window it automatically changes to auto draft.

Well ill be on a plane from about 7pm-11pm eastern time. So preferably before 7pm for me at least. But again ill ser maybe i can get a buddy to help me draft.

We have owners that haven't chimed in so I'm going to assume that they are going to accept whatever date those of you that are giving input select. So I'm going to give this another day and set the league up on Friday. If nothing changes then I'll set up the draft for 10 am CST on Monday (Labor Day) Sept 2nd. The time is flexible so if anyone would benefit by having move up or back a couple of hours then by all means say so. I believe we are going to have more people available on the 2nd than any other day due to it being a holiday so lets try not to change the date but if I'm wrong about that then the date can be changed as well. You guys can start getting your entry fees paid. My paypal account is empty and available. Send $25 to cspottrun@msn.com and include your screen name so I'll know who is paid. Send it 'friends and family' so they don't take fees out of our prize money.

OK guys I am typing this as I set up the league. I'm noting everything I change from the default settings so that you have all the info right here.

The roster will consist of 1 QB, 2 WR, 2 RB, 1 TE, 1 K, 1 Def, 1 W/R/T (receiver, running back, or tight end) and 6 bench players.

Scoring. Any touchdown will count as 6 points (passing/rushing/offense/defense/special teams). The point after is 1 point. 2 point conversions are 2 points. Passing 1 point per 25 yards. All turnovers will count as 2 points for the recovering team and -2 for the team losing the ball (4th down stops are considered a 'Turnover on downs' and will award the defense 2 points). Rushing 1 point per 10 yards. All yards gained by running with the ball are considered rushing yards so return yards will count if you own the player or defense in the case of punt returns. Receiving 1 point per 10 yards. Field goals 0-39 yds 3 points, 40-49 yds 4 points, 50 + yds 5 points. Defense is standard scoring for points allowed (10 points for shutout to -4 points for allowing 35 + points). Safety is 2 points. Tackle for a loss is 1 point. A sack is a tackle for a loss. Blocked kicks are 2 points. Extra awarded points for 300 yards passing 2 points. 100 yards rushing, receiving, returning 2 points.

Claims of waived players will be given to the team with the worst ranking first. Once a team is a awarded a waiver claim they rotate to the end of the waiver list.

We have two divisions. The winners of the division automatically are awarded the top seeds in the playoffs. There will be 4 playoff spots total. Overall ranking will determine the other 2 spots, it is possible to have 3 teams from one division make the playoffs.
