More random thoughts: Don Cruz ran a 9.26 and at least one 9.33 in TSM, is that a new record?
Yep, #1 and #2 qualifier went at it in the semis. Dave ran a 8.33 @ 167 and I at least cut a good light 040 to be exact, but at only a 8.55, all I could do is sit back and watch. We both gave everybody what they were looking for, the best side by side race EVER and two records set at the same time. Those guys really have done their homework and the best guy won as it should be. Congrats to them and all their hard work.
Saw Bob S "lay hands on" Kip A in the bleachers Sunday. I think the disagreement started over an interruptor gear or might have been a bet on the TSM final (btw great job Steve). Some other dude put Kip in a headlock and Kip popped him then threw Bob against another guy who was just minding his own business. The poor other guy spilled beef jerky and hard lemonade all over the place. It was u-g-l-y. I was scared for my life. Otherwise it was a great day!
The runs were not records due to the scales issue. Possibly they became records because the scales were broken and the drivers knew it.![]()
Maybe, maybe not.
The TSO race was allot of fun not to mention congratulations to Dave on the win. It was a great time talking to new and old friends, then being able to watch those killer times that Dave and Ted made during the event. Plus I have to give a thumbs up to Chris for organizing such a great class that seems to be growing, also Rich you need to let me know what flavor ice cream you would like for that first round win.

>>> Hi Jeff,
I ate 2 pounds over the three days, like I really need it.......lol.
Good to see your car running great, if I had enough time to figure out it was only a fuse I think we woulda had a great race as our cars were running about the same, maybe we can race for a sods at BPG:biggrin: .
Congrats again on the car and talk to you soon.

I ribbed you before on your light at cecil, Now its time to give you credit that 040 light was NASTY Like i told you after the race had you put down another 8.42 pass it was anyones game. Congrats to you and Dan for putting together a car that runs like yours does with stock style heads and.... stays together.
