I am really disgusted to hear this.
This kind of stuff is making lose faith in the health

I was told that one person was a bald guy from Georgia and was an official at Bowling Green. Not for sure on this info. My informant is a little shaky.
 
It was bound to happen. It was just a matter of time. I have read some stuff on here about this camp against that camp and so on and so forth. I am suprised it has not happened sooner. I can't believe CARS have that much of a effect on people. Hopefully nobody got hurt.
 
On the subject of the fight..I have no details and it's definately not the way to handle a dispute if this is true.....BUT if someone runs their mouth and badmouths people on the internet, it's just as bad as doing it to your face IMO. If you were to come face to face with someone you've slandered or badmouthed you never know what may happen.

My Chicago pals are all coming home mad. The 69 GS caught a rock that shattered the windshield on the way to Norwalk,no racing for him. The grey regal(bigdawg70 on v8 buick) made like 6 runs and went boom for reasons unknown yet. The Blue wheel standing v8 regal went out first round due to going red and drove back on the trailer with low oil pressure. I hear Avon was having boost issues, and a guy with a really nice GN launched and broke the bell housing off the trans and the rest of the trans hit the ground. Broke the rear of the block off the motor and you could see cylinders 5 and 6. Sucks!!
 
congrats to dave fiscus for some great runs! sorry to hear about the fight. i know about the internet crap. but jim c. is a great guy and they must have really made him mad! i hope it all works out and jim makes his way to vegas some day! i owe him dinner and a cold beer!

Yep, #1 and #2 qualifier went at it in the semis. Dave ran a 8.33 @ 167 and I at least cut a good light 040 to be exact, but at only a 8.55, all I could do is sit back and watch. We both gave everybody what they were looking for, the best side by side race EVER and two records set at the same time. Those guys really have done their homework and the best guy won as it should be. Congrats to them and all their hard work.
