Anyone use one of these "Wide Band O2" thingy's AND still have the heater box? If you do, where did you mount the sensor?
If you can post a pic, please do as that would be awesome! :D

Jerryl - You can mount the O2 sensor as far down as the CAT if you need to.
As long as there is no leaks in your exhaust you'll be fine.

Thanks Scott! That is what I was thinking.
The Hot Air DP is a TIGHT fit with the heater box. I need to verify the clearance to get the correct sensor install angle down by the cat.

I'm going to mount mine in the turbo up pipe so I can get a more accurate feed of fuel mixture.

What sensor are you using? It is my understanding that most WB's will fail at higher temps (> 1100F ??)

I've heard that too far down stream (like by the cat) will cause condensation problems and shorter life.

I e-mailed the manufacturer and they said it would be ok at the cat.
Scott must know something since he is running 9's.

hey

if it where me i would run it at the end of the downpipe. put a bung in there and put her in. WB02's hate high temps. if you put it in the upipe it will be dead in a day or so.

Yeah, NEVER had any intention to place it in the up-pipe.
That would be too easy, JUST like most things on these cars.

I will "look" for space in the DP, 16-20" from the turbo.
"IF" that won't work, I'll place it 12" before the cat, facing up between 10-2 O' clock.
