Anybody bought/used a downpipe from this company?

^^^ Thank you and thanks to all for your responses. It seems that the rjc pipe comes in a natural stainless finish. I guess that i would have to coat it with a polished finish.

the true terry houston pipe was very popular ...ten years ago when you could buy them and still is a sought after part ... his fit perfect which is why they were copied

Ok, this has turned into what i did not want it to turn into. My original post was to see if anyone has used or recently bought that downpipe or anyone that can give me feedback. I ask here because i value the expert opiñions here and wanted feedback to see if i should call them and ask them questions because they will probably tell me that theirs is the best so before i did that, i wanted real life opinions from anyone that has one. I usually support our vendors whenever i can. I have bought many items from vendors here and always encourage others to do so. There is about a $100 difference in price between the rjc downpipe and the whiteracing downpipe. I am the only one working in my house so i do need to watch my pennies. I haven't ruled out the rjc downpipe. I just wanted to know if anyone had one of whites downpipes installed and what they thought of it. Thats all. There is one for sale now in the for sale thread. Can anyone tell me if that is a true terry houston cause the seller isn't sure. Thank you in advance.

You did get the best advice. Whites site is OLD! And the THDP they advertise are no longer produced. So no, in a word, you can't get that pipe from them.

Well I'm going to post what I think about Jason's downpipe and all can jump all over me. I bought one only because I went to a new 6466 turbo and needed to really port the puck hole. The RJC pipe has 1 & 5/8's puck so I bought one. It fit just fine BUT it damn near hits the plastic inner fender and in fact did touch it down at the bottom were it has that ridge on it. I wish I wouldn't have sold my T/H pipe and just put a bigger puck in it. Yup the RJC is quality built and very nice I just don't like how far it sweeps out. Anybody know anything about Kirban's new downpipe?? As that might be a good option for this fellow and the price is right !! $415 Thanks Mike

Actually the same thing happened to V8Killer on his GN. He ended up switching it with to his T which he didn't mind cutting back the plastic inner fender. Quality was very nice but the swing was too wide. You could see it in comparison to a real THDP. This was on stock headers (both cars). Had to loosen the turbo and turn it some to attach the straight pipe to the exhaust at the cat hanger. Kind of expected that might need to be done.

I was told no because they have not been made in a long time. I haven't called white racing though. My question was just to see if anyone had bought one lately. No one responded so i would venture to say that they are no longer sold. I should call to confirm though

Basically, what people here are trying to say is to not mess with this company. There's a reason for that. And if those were REAL Terry Houstons (which are like unicorns) they'd be 800 bucks. No further action is necessary man. Really. The stories that float around my neighborhood about that place are unreal...

i believe the swing is wide to accomodatebthe different style headers (was my understanding). ta perfoemance has a th style dp as well bit i was inder the ASSumption it was the same one rjc has. or very close to it
