i believe the swing is wide to accommodate the different style headers (was my understanding). ta performance has a th style dp as well bit i was inder the ASSumption it was the same one rjc has. or very close to it

The wide "swing" is also to provide a little better flow with less restriction.

I have installed many RJC pipes, and if it is touching the inner fender something is amiss in the car like worn motor mounts, non-stock turbo exhaust housing or headers or?

The RJC pipe and the TA pipe are not the same.

^^^Both are High quality......and I think whiteracing is long gone...

Nick, have you installed any TA performance or Kirban downpipes? If so, how was the fit?

I read this article a few times a couple of weeks ago.

Didn't White Racing use an ATR 3" downpipe for this build? Can someone check the article parts list? I might be mistaken.

others have given their "expert" ( all knowing) opinion on this, but..........
white racing IS still in business
still does Buick repair/ mods
still sells a down pipe,( no idea whose)
still has a website.
so maybe those "experts" can call them ,and ask what down pipe they sell!
I have no first hand knowledge of white racing, or their credit ability.
just pointing out some experts are NOT so expert!

and back to the OP's original question..........
anyone ever use one of these downpipes?

(and NO, Nick, I'm not talking about you!)

I just spoke to white racing, they do have the downpipes but not the same advertised price. Its $575
