Unfortunately they are generally pasty white & overweight in this part of the world.

Funky neon colored hair, piercings & ugly tattoos included....

I don't like your world, please don't tell me where it is

You need to find a new part of the world ! Or stop drinking coffee as who wants to be awake to see that sight!!!

Eight o clock is good for smashing in a blender for coffee each morning. Sometimes I get a $20 bag of fresh groudn at the local brew house, its good. Then I go back to smashing my own in a blender.

I will sometimes mix different beans, to get the rich flavor I like. Half dark roast {seattles best} and 8 O'clock makes a good blend.

I've been drinking mine BLACK NO SUGAR since I was fourteen so I get nothing but coffee flavor.

And my bean grinder is like 15 yrs. old and is a blade style before all this high tech stuff came out designed to empty your wallet.

The last time I bought a twenty bag was 35 yrs. ago and I could get twenty fat ones out of it !!! ;)

Been trying to move back to God's Country for a li'l over a year now. Unfortunately fleeing Southern Californians & Snowbirds have invaded & driven the prices up.

The inbred Liberal cesspool up here reeks!

I left the Communist Commonwealth of Mass. 15 yrs. ago to come to S. Carolina and was the best thing I did.

Love my coffee; was my hobby before I got the GN.

3 burr grinders:
-Solis Maestro for normal home coffee.
-Silvia Rocky grinder for the espresso machine.
-Capresso Infinity grinder for work...have converted my team to fresh ground coffee.

Using a blade grinder would be like putting 87 octane in the Buick!

Agree with John at Caspers: Costco has great quality beans all around that won't break the bank.

What if I put meth in my coffee instead of cream or sugar to help boost the performance of my low cost grinder?

I'm not saying a blade grinder is the best out there but my coffee tastes damn good to me and the people I serve it to.

I grind my beans, I mean smash them until they no longer whirl around in the grinder. It is almost as fine as espresso and the oils come to the top when brewed for what I think is a great cup of coffee.

Maybe one of you fine gents can brew me a cup of fine joe and set me straight on what I've been missing for the past 35 plus yrs.

I will continue to live in ignorant bliss unless one of you kind fellows feels sorry enough for my taste buds to send me a quality burr grinder and get me out of this coffee hell I'm living in.

How many of you coffee lovers out there ruin the taste of your coffee by adding cream/sugar or worse yet that crappy flavored imitation cream??

Rob you might be due for a new grinder. Here's a cheap burr grinder for you. https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B004...rr+grinder&dpPl=1&dpID=41cFCttjrRL&ref=plSrch

For that price I can try that.

Thanks for the link, I'll have my wife buy it for me for Christmas.
Let us know if you can taste a difference. If I had seen that one sooner I would have bought it instead of spending $129 on the one I bought.

I will report what if any difference in taste after trying it.

The only issue I see is in this review:

* the amount of ground coffee is measured in arbitrary "cup" units that the manual says are larger for coarser settings and smaller for finer; they're not really "cups"
* the grind mechanism is made primarily of plastic (may not be reliable)
* the power LED is glaring blue and is on anytime the grind chamber is fully inserted, leaving the chamber partially hanging out when not in use turns the LED off

Man I just didn't know how you buick guys are professionally coffee connoisseur. I'm learning a lot. I drink a lot of coffee as well. But for what it is worth I keep it simple. I buy Gevalia Dark Roast Bold Bean ( Grinded a in Cooks bean grinder, an brewed in a Cooks dual cup dispenser ( JC Penny house brand). Try it you will like it

Yep! EFF the North!

Last year I moved to enemy territory up north. Was a 3rd gen FL native, and everyone before that was Kentucky/Georgia. But, in Northern Michigan, it's really a lot like the glorious South, except it is very cold. Everyone is friendly like the South, and no one comes up here from Bahstin or Joysey to tell us how they did it back home. FL may as well be South New York from Oct 1 - May 1.
