My wife and kids bought 2 in norragewalk ME. They wreck our house every night ,eat plants,steal ANY food, any bad thing you

My mom has 2 of them im not really a cat guy but at my mom's house they run the show one is name whisker's because he has the longest whiskers we have ever seen with his fluffy hair...the other one is name........damn i forgot the other ones name? i know its a girls name but its a boy? lol don't know what happened maybe my mom thinks he's a gay cat? the weird thing about that cat is that it will try and suck your leg or arm like if its sucking its mother's breast for milk even does the paw movememnt like if its trying to get milk lol thats why i think my mom gave the poor cat a girls name..lol its the weirdest cat? my mom researched that and supposably they do that when they are very happy and feel good.

Pat, that's a really cool looking cat, pretty big too! I'm pretty much like "rphatdad" though, I'm alergic to them too unfortuantly. Hopefully one day we will be able to get one, my kids have been nagging me to death about it. Thanks for sharing.

We had a Maine Coon when I was growing up that did the suckling thing/milk treading thing too except it was on a soft blanket. Our Maine Coon showed up on our doorstep one morning with worms of some sort that got in him and got to one of his eyes, etc. After a vet visit and some treatment he turned out fine. He was always skiddish after that but a great cat that lived to be 18 years old. Big fluffy cat with cinnamon and white markings and a big old fuzzy belly. He died last year. RIP Cheddy

Ours came to us as a stray, he wandered our neighborhood for 6 months before we adopted him. His fur was matted really bad and he had some ticks so we knew he had been abandoned by someone. We learned that a pure breed like ours typically go for about 1k. It was estimated he was only 1 year old we we got him, he is 8years old now and is the coolest pet I have ever owned. He has the personality of a dog, comes when I call him and he is soo (18 lbs) big its like petting a dog, very smart too. As you can see he is so big he always like to prop his head up when he sleeps. Maine Coons are fantastic, hope you find one.

My girlfriend had one when she moved in, a male. He was good as gold, and he clearly thought he was king of the house, but he wasn't destructive at all. He was diabetic and died over the summer.
