Was wonder if any of you were using the VHX gauges ? I just ordered them but did not go with the Grand National kit just the basic Regal one. Reason being I wasn't sure how well I would be able to see the boost on the display screen, I searched for days but cant find a picture showing the boost in the display. If anyone is running this setup would you mind showing your boost displayed on the screen ? Figured if it didn't look too bad i can contact DD and have them add the sensor and sending unit.

Thanks

I only have the digital display one with Boost and I love it! Very easy to read!

Ok got my gauges delivered and have a couple questions where did you guys tap in for the check engine light and what do I do with the vss, doesnt the computer need that info still ?

The check engine light is a separate line don't have to mess with it! In the old cluster remove the sender from the back of the cluster where the speedometer cable is hooked to. Take this assembly and put it inside a plastic box anything that will cover it from light! Wrap it up and keep it in the back of the dash. The wires are running to the VSS you have to tap into, I believe the brown wire. Yes the computer does need vehicle speed! Your gonna have to do the speedometer setup later on the Dakota cluster.

This piece correct ?

You need to attach the part that plugs into it as well! It detached from the back of the cluster.

Correct stock speedo cable and everything that keeps the signal going! I put their sending unit back in the box for safe keeping

So how do i get the dd gauges to read the speed ? These instructions are worthless, would expect good instructions for the money spent, im lost

It's written in there tap into the VSS harness get everything else hooked up. Did your kit come with two push buttons?

yes 2 push buttons. I totally overlooked the note they have in the sensor package about not using their speed sensor damn. So i dont need to worry about the spd+ or spd- on the controller just spd snd and that comes off the brown wire on the factory plug that connects to the vss harness, thanks for your help

Hey, did you ever get this complete? And how much was the unit you purchased?

Yes completed and fully functional. I want to say i paid $750 for it, I did not opt for the boost or fuel readouts so that brought the cost down.

I think that's the route I might want to go as well. I wonder if it's different that I have a digital dash oppose to analog? The one you chose is the one that I was looking at. Did install take too long? Thanks for the response.

Doesn't matter if you had a digital dash or analog.
