I have had 2 duramax's and love them. Never a problem. I need another one to add to business. So im stuck on a GMC 2500 Denali 4x4. Probably going to get tomorrow or thursday. I will still use other one for heavy work and to beat on. So what is the stuff you have to pour in for exhaust cleaning on these? My buddy has one and said its a pita and he is waiting for someone to make a delete kit for it.

a delete kit is not going to happen, the EPA will have a field day with those that believe otherwise. its here to stay.

I guess it wont be too bad when its sold at the pumps. Thanks for that article very helpful. I guess if your not looking to mod it up then there is nothing to worry about.

BUY IT! BUY IT! And post pics when you do.

If I had the money that is EXACTLY what I would be driving!

I'm jealous already...

Buy a cummings....

Spelled Cummins and, if you want less power and worse fuel economy in a truck with less capacities, you could buy a Dodge. I certainly wouldn't buy one again.

Duramax hands down is the best diesel on the road... PERIOD:biggrin:

Oh ok cool , I have heard a few people had problems with the stuff freezing, Duramax all the way for sure I just dont like all the EPA crap on them now;)

Been down that route wont drive one again. The motor is good tranny sucks. I have had all the diesel trucks and by far duramax has blown them away.

+1 I have also had all of them, Duramax Rocks!!Cummins 12v trany every 100,000,Front end problems, Powerstroke 7.3 ECm,Trany,GLow plugs, .......

Ok bought truck today, didnt get Denali model the only difference was grill. Wheels were same and interior. I like it but doesnt seem to have the balls like other ones. Might feel slow cause its so quiet?

Hear is a interesting read. Urea tanks on diesel trucks -- that's the law in the United States starting in 2010

It will be on every new diesel truck. No way around it.

 You fellas are wrong.
