Lance hasn't posted on here this year yet. He usually called the restaraunt to get all the reservations and tables set up for us and got a head count of how many to expect. I think Toots even brought extra staff in for that night

Unfortunately it doesn't look like anyone is gonna step up and organize the get together for Toots 2003. I imagine it will be on a much smaller scale this year of just some of us showing up thursday and hoping for an empty table.

Doesn't look like tb.com will be sponsoring any races at Bowling Green this year. When it comes right down to it, there aren't a lot of members that still support those things that may cost a few bucks. I don't think there was many that helped out in the sponsorship last year so I can only speculate that may be the reason it's not getting done this year. Either that or Lance is just too busy to deal with it.

Lance, if you're out there, I hope you make it to BG this year!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

For those that have never attended the Toot's TB.com get together. It is at Toot's on Scottsdale, like a Hooters kinda (without all the distracting hot scantily clad chickies). It usually kicks off around 7pm. In the past, Lance was kind enough to kick in for free beer (with some level of assistance) and to organize the happening.

There was a post last year for nametags so we could tell who everyone was. If I'm not mistaken, Rick took care of that. Lance made the reservation and notified the staff. I'll try to call them up today to confirm that there will be a group there this year.

Can someone get some nametags together?

It is a beer drinking social, not too wild but plenty of fun and visiting. Sort of where we all have gotten used to hooking up for at least one chance to meet and say hi.

Toot's is like a tradition! We can't let it just fizzle out, too much fun! I know people taking an extra day off work just to get there for the Thurs nite festivities!

If it's a money thing, PLEASE (Lance or anyone) don't feel obligated to have to buy us all beer! While free beer is always nice & all , I am sure others will agree that we don't want to let the extra $$ needed for that spoil the fun. I am all for giving a TB.com "donation" when I pick up my name tag too, if that helps out. Anything to keep the fun going!

Of course I will probably hear some complaining that I wasn't at the tech session thurs nite (again) At least the "person" that had nothing good to say about our motor mounts won't have a reason to do that again. He now has a Poly mount on his car & going faster just from the new mount! Thanks again for all the great people that backed me up in my absence at last years tech session! I wanted to go, but the Toot's event is just too good to miss!
