I have this Holly 4bb. that has no numbers other that the patent numbers. Also no choke & it is setup to open both butterfly's at same time (race carb)

Does this look like the 4150 series?

Why is the secondary 1 Big Butterfly?

I had a buddy that used to own one of these. I was told that they flow 950 cfm and were once used in Nascar.

Someone has cut of the choke horn, that is why there is no number but that is for sure a single pump (note how the accelerator pump squirts into the secondary), dual feed, 950 CFM carb, I had one many years ago. Awesome at WOT tough to tune out the bog on the street, Tough to tell from the picture but it loks like it acquired the 50CC REO accelerator pump along the way too. I would rebuilt it (rebuild kits are available) and send it to Holly custom shop for a refinish it is a rare unit that may have some vlalue, more if the choke was still there.

Thanks Guys, I also called my uncle who owned this. Was found in my parents estate. Uncle said it was on a 69 427 & claims it is a NASCAR style carb. You guys seem to be right on!

ANY IDEA OF WORTH. I have no need for it but am sure someone can use it.

hang on to it!

I've got a couple of them, most people have never seen one, or don't believe you when you tell them about it,
they made a 950 and 1050 cfm, not sure about nascar, but were killer on the street, I 1st ran one on my 427 L88 camaro, at that time everyone ran a 3310 750 holley, it looked the same from the out side.
both of mine came with the 50cc reo accel pump, but have a larger diaphram for the vacumn secondary.
check and see if you can still get rebuild kits,
rare? yea, valuable? maybe!
