When I flushed this new FMIC clean, I used an old hair blow dryer to dry the interior. I just stuck the dryer nozzle in one end & let it run. The discharge side had almost as much air flowing out of it as what was being blown into it. When I tried this before on my OEM IC, the discharge was noticeably less. It would be interesting to run a differential pressure gauge on this cooler. I'm betting there is very little loss across the core. Something else that was interesting was the amount of the core that warmed up. The dryer was only able to heat about 1/2 of the core. The amount of warmth was very even from top to bottom & flowed about 1/2 way across. I needed to swap the dryer to the other side to warm the other 1/2 up. This is all very unscientific but it was obvious to the touch that the heat exchanger flowed very evenly & gave up its heat easily.
