I've bought Ford, Bank of America, and Citigroup shares because they're cheap. I'm 35 and just paid my last house payment. Other than paying a Home Depot credit card balance of $150 and owning two Turbo Buicks, my wife and I are debt free! What else is there to look at? Thanks!

35 and no house payments, that's awesome. I'm 40 and about 5-6 years away from paying off my house.

I have been watching the oil companies but fear I have missed on them . I like ups and fed ex. GE looks good with the oracle from omaha purchasing a big chunk. I also have been watching water and solar etfs. None of the solar stocks that look good are paying dividends so I am having a hard time pulling the trigger on any.

You can talk to board member PRONTO for a fee.

SHHHHH! He is secretly is a fund manager

You did good On Ford if you sold it a month or so ago....;);) How much did you have in ford? I made a couple of bucks on ford to...:biggrin:

Long shot penny stock ACTC.
Made some $ off XING and ASTM recently.
GE and VZ for the long haul.

Anything else is going to cost ya.

Look into

VNR--Vangard Natural Resorses--Pays a good dividend.
ICO---A coal stock
The market had a good run in 2010--may be time for a correction?
Take small steps !!!!!
I have some AAPL--they are reporting the week of the 18th--may unload some then. This is another stock that has been on a tear. Don't know if I would recomend it @ this price.
Best of luck.

If Verizon drops the iphone and some super processor phones, how much you think it will go up? It's already at a 52 week high.

Upward potential is good plus it's got good dividends. The "smartphone" business is booming.

I have Ford (F) and Citigroup (C) along with a Canadian penny pharmaceutical stock Aeterna Zentaris Inc (AEZS) and Razor ( RSTI) a penny energy stock with a some EV components and thermo energy plants. Good luck and as always do your own DD.

No stock picks for me but if your a betting man, Swifty the rabbit always beats the grayhounds

It just happened a few minutes ago on engadget live from the verizon press event
11:07AM "Late in 2010 we started offering the iPad... today, we are extremely gratified to announce that the iPhone 4 will be available early next month."

Westar Energy: symbol WR. Not sexy, but pays a 4.88% dividend and has paid consistent dividends for decades. I'm a believer in dividend re-investment too.

Should make this a sticky and anytime one of us has something, we could update. It's still up to the individual to do whats right for them. But I am sure we could all use the insight.

Thanks

Ronnie
