Anyone having trouble signing onto the GSCA BB?

Hi All,

Good to see the GSCA BB is back up and running,

When I went on to see it and try to post I couldn't. So I typed in my handle Buicksx2 and hit "forgot password" and it never emailed me anything as it said it would and I was online for a few hours.

I then registered an account on there, typed in all info it had asked for and tried to post and nothing happened, I again typed in as I forgot password and got nothing.

Anyone else have a simialr problem or am I doing something wrong.

Same thing happened to me, I asked some others that were posting on here as well what was going on and couldn't get an answer.

I thought maybe my GSCA dues were due...

Did you ever get your problem resolved in signing onto the GSCA BB?

I have not..........I have written to the moderator but have not gotten an answer yet, hope you've had better luck than me.

it worked for me

I could not log iin so I just re-registered. Since it allowed me to
use my old username it appears this is the correct way to do it.
You must click the link in the verification email in order to finish.

I tried that and the other ways too and for some reason it's not working. Almost seems like the Buicksx2 name won't go thru for some reason.

I hope to hear from the moderator soon to recify the situation.

I had no trouble logging on and creating an account. I even made a few posts.

I would think that given history that if "Buicksx2" was banned that "TurboDiverArt" would be right behind it!

Hope you can get it all resolved by contacting the moderator. Have you tried any other moderator? Better to ask a bunch of moderators to get it resolved.

I did get a reply from the moderator which I am thankful for. he stated that to the best of his knowledge no ne has been excluded and others have gotten on without a problem.

He didn't know what else to say.

I may have to register under another name, guess it doesn't like Buicksx2...........who'd a thought something like that could possibly happen to Buicksx2 (Ace of Spades).

Well, if the TurboDiverArt (Ace of Diamonds) could get in I'd have thought you'd get in.

Did you try another moderator? Maybe one of the other moderators "accidentally" locked you out considddering other are not having trouble.

Rich I had the same problem. It would not let me sign up with my user name "ULYCYC" I guess with a new board and new chief it has bugs to work out. With out the NY/NJ crew they will be board to death

I can certainly feel your pain as user name "Buicksx2" can't get in nor does it recognize the name for email purposes, probably a Windows XP glitch cause I don't think I woulda been ditched on purpose cause that would have required a specific decision to be made to do so.

I had to register under my new catchy name over there as "RichsCustomAuto". That seemed to work fine and I can even post too.

Perhaps "EdsCustomAuto" will work and be recognized for you over there.

What a crew the NY/NJ crew is...........has Doug had any problems signing onto the GSCA BB? Just wondering.

It seems there basically one moderator for all sections of the GSCA BB so that was the one I wrote to, henceforth as you can see above we cant seem figure out the problem. So if you need to reach me over there I am now known as "RichsCustomAuto".

Really? If there's only one moderator, it sounds less like a "gsca" board and more like a "Ron's Custom Auto" board? People were on this board complaining about many of the moderators being vendors, I can only imagine what people would say if there was only one moderator.

Like I said, I got on with my same sign-in I've used for years. I think it would definitely be known on that board since I was banned for so long on it years ago.

I haven't got it worked out as yet. Now I'm not getting e-mails notifying me if I get of replys to posts I've responded to on this board...

I tried to reply to this post this morning and when I gave it the old send off, I got the old send off. I was told to try again later too many people loged on.

Well, now I'm pissed, my wife takes my paper, I can't read the boards, it's tough having coffee in the morning just staring at my dog.
