Anyone know blue carpet name that matches

The blue carpet in TTypes, Cutlass's an Turbo Regals? I am looking at the ACC and a couple other vendors and they list these and more:

1. Ocean Blue
2. Lapis Blue
3. Dark Blue
4. Navy Blue
5. Etc. Blue

I guess I would be trying to match that color to some headliner fabric too as that and the visors need recovering. I know 22I and 27 I were code colors but wonder what the names that were associated with them and others.

Any ideas or anyone who has replaced their blue carpet? If I don't figure it out I may just go with Dove gray or Black up and down. That could be OK with the rest of the interior blue.

I dont know to much about blue,but I would get a sample piece of each. This way you can pick out the best one...

That is the one I was trying to remember. This probably won't happen til I get a drivetrain in 'n doors etc back on. I'm trying to figure out what kinda $ and where to get all this stuff in the spring.

How does Fed Blue carpet match the blue in your headliners/visors? Are samples available?

Blue interiors have to be one of the worst matching colors I have ever seen. Medium & dark blue are mixed thru out on a T. I bet you can't look at the headliner & the carpet at the same time when your sitting in the driver seat of your car LOL

I can get you any samples you want. The PUI T interior is about the closest match we had built for these cars. The problem is it almost looks faded as compared to the new material. I think Eric has a picture some where of the NEW PUI blue T interior door panels we had made. That was the closest they could find.

your right i have blue interior:biggrin:. i've been told that my interior is in very nice condition for age but to me the mix-match with light and dark blue doesn't make sense and i can't tell if its light or faded worst color interior in a T

I have an 86 ttype with the blue-gray (or is it grey blue?) interior scheme. I recently replaced my carpet and got a good ACC match to "Dove Gray" by sending a sample to the vendor. the sample was from under a seat, so not heavily faded. I think it looks nice - caveat: not a show car restoration!

Dove gray is the listing color thru ACC for an 86 t-type. Shouldn't have neede to send a sample.
