Anyone out there have our dual 3" exhaust system AND use the HR PartsnStuff rear drag bar???? Have customers asking about the fit and pretty sure the end links will end up in the way of the pipes over the rear. If you do, pics would be helpful.

Plan on making one fit on my own GN this spring to answer the questions since we sell them! Plan on letting the GN sit undisturbed under the car cover this winter.

No it will not fit the end links want to live dead center in the pipes. I sold mine and bought a pypes system. An exhaust shop could probably make it fit however.

Yeah, that's pretty much what I found when I tried to put it on my GN when I had my Spohn Pro Touring bar on, same concept as HR bar. Was anxious to put the exhaust on so just switched to a Spohn reg style rear bar. Wonder if it could be made to work with a spacer on the bar and longer bolt to move the end links over?

Hey Mark, I have both. I notched my tailpipes and I am having them welded soon. I will post pics when its done. The only guy I know who has both with no issue is Claude ( toofastforyou ). He sent me pics of his and he has clearance. Mine touched a little, but I never got any knock or noise, if thats what your concerned with. I had no choice in my case. I bought the exhaust a year before I bought the bar. I wasnt selling either.

Thanks
Coach

I think the HR has a new style bar that will clear it comes up around the back of the rear end cover. Thanks for hooking me up on the epoxy studs as well Mark!:)

The new bar still attaches at the same point for the turnbuckles. It will hit.

clearance clarence!!1

I am running both. I put the exhaust in place first then mounted the rod end mounts just far enough out that the rod ends cleared the pipes. the bar has to be pointed down an inch or to so it does not run right in to the pipes. if the car is lowered you will have to weld the perches on to the bottom of the axle and lose the upper clamps that hr provides. you will not have alot of clearance but it will work. plan a good day of fooling around with everything to get it right! I am also looking at the new billet sway bar bushing mount from umi and welding its perch to the axle. I do not have any pics right now but the fit is tight!! if the sway bar wiggles side to side the rod end on my driver side seems to still touch a little. the gn1 exhaust fit and finish is awesome, and the sound is perfect. and the hr bar works great and its fit is perfect, it just takes some dedication to make the two work together.
