anyone rebuilt transmissions locally ??

Any local SoCal transmission guys on here? I need my tranny rebuilt for my fresh stroker motor. I'm hoping to produce around 550-600 rwhp. I hope :/

I would check with Lou to see who he is using right now. I am not sure if the guy who built mine is still who he uses.
 
I talked to Art Carr. He can build me a solid one that can handle my estimated power.
Has anyone had a tranny built by Art Carr? I know a lot of people use to use his converters and liked them. He is not to expensive either and he is local.
 
Is it the real Art Carr? (the old guy) or whoever bought his business?
 
Yes, the REAL Art Carr. Still in business . Good guy. He is up there in age but still building transmission.
 
Lou's guy is pretty damn good.

Lou's happy to refer folks to him.
