Anyone remove "restrictor" by the boost controller?

By the factory boost controller, there is a 90 degree plastic reducer/restrictor.....I've seen some of the rice burners take similar deals out on their cars and gain quicker boost

Anyone have info. pertaining to this...good or bad??

P.S. I'm not talking about the "y" that collects the actuator and the compressor lines.

I run a BstC Boost Command with two GM solenoids plumbed in parallel and I have eliminated the elbow going to both solenoids. Works fine for me.
