Basically some strategic grinding and drilling to get the bad roof off then some more strategic grinding and drilling to get the donor roof off in one piece and straight. Also there is some foam between the roof supports and the roof skin that needs to be separated before removal of the roof. A stainless wire made quick work of that. Clean everything up, prep with some weld through primer and start lining up and clamping and welding. Key for me was take some reference measurements before removal so that things could be lined up properly. Also having the front rear and side glass handy to test fit everything before final welding. All in all I am very pleased being the first attempt at anything this major. Came out nice and straight, The rain gutters are a major PITA though, at least for me they were.
