Just had a quick look at the Napa web site and they list all heater hoses for the TTA and looking at the pictures these do look correct for our application ... and look at the price beats the $159 I paid for a set of repros a while back ... if the Napa ones are correct that is

Hose - Radiator Upper NBH 9592 $19.39
Hose - Radiator Lower NBH 9593 $16.29
Hose - Heater Engine to Heater NBH 11835 $8.39
Hose - Heater Heater to Pipe NBH 11359 $7.49

Anyone tried them or looked at them?

OK, here we go. compared NAPA Hoses to OE Rad hoses I took off. Upper is excelent comparison. Lower is very good. Compared heater hoses to OE mounted in car. looks very good.
Larger JPG files can be emailed. contact me at V6TA@hotmail.com

They took 3 days shipped from NC to MI. I had to pay inbound freight since they were not at the local wearhouse.

hoses

The NAPA warehouse is 5 min. my work. The hoses are made by Gates in GA. 2 to 3 days to get them with regular shipping. P/N 9592 and 9593 (62 each p/n are available) 11835 and 11359 are in stock in NC as of today. Does not seem to be any problem getting the hoses.

I'm Gonna use them on my second TTA. I have the Carmotorsports set on my first TTA. The heater hoses look good too. I would get the full 4 hose set.

Lee, I think this should be put in the TTA FAQ. Im ordering an extra set.

Thanks Jason

I used the same NBH part numbers and was able to order AC Delco hoses through A-line Auto Parts in Round Rock Texas for roughly the same price. Check in your area to see if you have an independent auto parts store that carries primarily AC Delco parts. I have attached a picture of what mine look like and they are an excellent match to all of my original hoses.

Yeah...I was really ticked to find out carmotorsports just took the labels off...sure is easy money..."Custom TTA radiator hose" aggervates me even more. Crappy business practice if you ask me.

Aha so GM picked them up from Gates :-) I got 2 sets of the Napa part numbers and they are identical to my 20 year old ones and at the right price !

That's just like buying a Buick "Grand National" alternator. If I'm not mistaken, it's the same damn alternator as the T-Type has.......but magically at NAPA, the GN one is more money. Maybe "my85grandNation" could confirm?

Hey Jeff,

I just talked to Mark over at A-line Auto Parts in Round Rock.........what a nice guy to work with. I ordered my hoses through A-line!

Thanks for the tip!

J.

No Problem. If anyone needs anything else for their car, especially hard to find stuff call Travis at A-line 512-255-3604. He is a good friend of mine and knows his parts.

TTA Heater Hoses etc

.. if those are the part #'s guys.. these hoses cost ME (down under) 11835 @ US$3.16, 11359 @ 3.92, 9592 @ 9.13 & 9593 @ 7.67. All up us$23.88 + delivery.
How come the story with being asked to pay like $160.. ??? I've just cross referenced them with various other US sources electronically .. and the price like double that for retail but .... SHOULD NOT be anything like what was suggested as a specialist supply....just not fair....... Seriously.

I think someone had Gates reproduce them (and supplied Gates with new OEM versions) and had exclusivity for a year or so ... THEY are now down to $59 USD for a set of all 4 ;)
