I have a couple of trailer wheels I want to paint and it sits outside all the time. The wheels are somewhat rusty now but I can wire wheel that off. I have used POR-15 in the past and it was fine but it did peel on me once. KBS' products have a much broader selection of colors and it is a little cheaper as well.
I could sandblast and powdercoat for twice the price but I would not get the rust protection the KBS system is claiming.
