I'm not a fan of dry systems. You're relying on the O2 sensor to adjust the fueling for you after it senses a lean condition caused by the nitrous. The problem is the O2 sensor is picking up this lean condition some time after the event has already occurred. I would only use a very small system if it was going to be dry.
Not with XFI. There is a seperate table and you can increase the DC based on the added hp easily. Its actually superior to a wet system since you can nail down the initial hit after a few data logged passes. Ive found that you need to delay the fuel a little or you get a big rich spot. You start off with slightly rich numbers then go backward. If anything the O2 will be showing rich so it pulls fuel. If its a 50 shot i start out adding about 30lb/hr of fuel and work backward from there. Bottle temps have a huge effect on the nitrous flow so with a wideband you are making more consistent power too. Running a setup without something like xfi is very risky imo unless its just for spoolup.

I totally agree with you. But, I think he's talking about using a dry system with an OEM controller.

I don't care what type of system you use, there will always be a little bit of timing to work out to get the fuel and nitrous to meet at the intake valve, at the same time.

LOL!

I run a 75 shot on mine a lot of the time, all the way down the track. It is awesome, that's pretty much all I can say.

As Don said, your boost is gonna go a lot higher on nitrous. I had my wastegate set to make 22psi and when I sprayed a 35 shot it went up to 26ish psi.

Edit: Dry systems are not the way to go, as mentioned in here as well. Wet all the way.

Have a setup on mine, scared to use it!

Hell, if so many are running it, I may change my mind about not using it! I have really wanted to..... I was wondering what that big shinny thing in the back of my car was?

Please don't tell me you're 2 staging that thing.

No its not a two stage just dual fogger nozzle. The extra solenoid is for the intercooler spray bar. Never used it through the motor. Bought the car this year from a friend of mine, had the itch to try it but never have. I think I would like it to much. I really like the NOS on the Fox. Buick would be better!!!

Nitrous works...

I have always stayed with a small shot... no more than 75 horse... a wet set up.

I wanted to get a run in on the bottle at the track after the latest mods but had a solenoid fail on me - it wouldn't open! (Better than it not closing!)

I am running as fast off the bottle now as I was with the bottle before the mods.
