Anyone work for USPS express mail problem

I sent out a rather large Certified check via USPS yesterday that was due by noon today. Well it did not arrive at all and when I checked the tracking # on USPS site and by phone they have no record of it!:frown:

There should be some sort of record. Do you have your receipt? Go talk with someone at the post office. Call who was suppose to receive the check and ask them what to do.

You have to at least get Delivery Confirmation to get tracking with USPS. Priority mail will not get you a tracking number.
If you sent it Certified Mail. You will also get signature confirmation that it arrived.

I sent it express mail which has a tracking #
It got there today.

I mailed this thing out before noon on the 22nd

I also learned something today.
Went to the USPS office on FT. Sam to find out WTF. Spoke with guy there about the problem and he told me "The first thing you did wrong was not go to a real post office." I was like and he said that was a satalite station that uses contract workers who don't give a rats ass . Basically my express mail sat at my local office for 24 hours He was more that happy to refund my 17.50 and send out a nasty gram for me. I remembered that they were wearing regular joe clothes and had McDonalds food on the counter. So note to self. If they are not in uniform go elsewhere.


Just happy it got there and I have another TR!:biggrin:
