Holy cow, that looks TERRIBLE! I would be ashamed to even try to sell something like that. :confused: <RETURN>
 
wow! last time i saw a job like that was back east when my redneck neighbor tried to make his own headers LOL. I would definetly call them up and arrange for them to swap you out or refund you and definetly make them pay for return shipping etc.

or like the early thread recommended go to TA performance mild steel is 645.00 with jethot 2000 is 925.00 and stainless steel the best is 955.00 so for another 350 you can get the TA's with the better v-band attaching cross over and obviously the better fit and finish, worth it in my book, wish my set would hurry up and get here LOL.
 
Man who welded those? Any decent weldor could do better than that! Im a certified weldor, and I would be totally ashamed to put my name on anything that looked even half that bad...
 
I called and they said to ship them back for a refund.

Good make them send a call tag to pay shipping! That looked like the worst craftsmanship I ever saw, how do they send junk like that out!
 
exactly get the call tag don't trust the old send em back and well refund the shipping bs as alot of companies all of a sudden forget they promised it!
 
Not sure what happened there on those Postons but mine looked better in the flange area. I got mine like 7 years ago though.

Someone over there had to notice those openings look like a$$ and I can not believe let them out the door.

If Ricks87GN had to send back the TA headers for poor craftsmanship then we are all screwed on quality headers for us.

Having vendors assemble Ebay headers is sounding better every week. :(

Rick did NOT send his headers back for "poor workmanship".:mad:

I talked with him a couple times and he said he did not want to use gaskets with any header on his iron heads. Since the ports on our headers are rather large, we recommend using gaskets on all installations.

Since he had already re-installed his stock headers, I just had him return them for a refund.

Our header ports are large enough to match race ported heads and do not require further work. If any welding is done on our header flanges, this will probably cause warping, and probably do the same to any header.

To put our headers in the same catagory as the e-bay headers is "the most rediculous item of the day"!:biggrin:
 
You tell them Nick! by the way hurry up and send my my headers LOL. can't wait to get them, also any suggestions on a place to have them jet hot coated? i bought the 4 bolt style headers.
 
Print off this entire thread with all the great negative feed back, and send it with the headers. When they see how many people are aware of there shoddy craftmenship they will think twice before sending out another pair that look like that!!
