I found an axle today, pulled it out of an 87 Regal. The yard guy told me this won't fit my 79 El Camino, it has to be 78-81. Am I wrong thinking this will fit? Paid $20 for it which seems fair. Also, the instrument and radio bezels look the same as my GN, same color and the plastic inserts are the same color as well. I haven't seen these in anything other than a turbo car, are these hard to find? I grabbed them both for $5, also fair I think. The car has 64,000 miles with a v-6. This would be a 109 block and 8445 heads, correct? Also, 200-4R.
