Early or late motor design? I've got an 84 with the early design deck.

I don't know whether the deck in 84 is the same thickness as the "109". I also don't know how deep the tapped holes are in the 84 deck. I'm sorry that I'm no help at this point.

Those studs won't work on the hotair block. It's a different kit for those and 4.1s

You kit has slightly longer studs for the 109's countersunk head bolt holes.
