These frigging brakes are gonna drive me NUTZ!.

Bought a reman from Dennis fall/winter 07 & installed in spring 08.
Drove maybe 1200 miles in our short new england season.

This year drove about 3 weeks into the season & the brakes go hard.

Buy a switch from GNPOWERMASTERS off Ebay. Works ok for a couple of outings. Today Brake pedal goes hard again.

FLUCKING BOAT ANCHORS these systems are.

Who here sells a decent complete vacuum unit with t-block for vacuum booster hook up.
Do I need to do any fabrication for a vacuum unit?

Kirbans site says lifetime warranty to the original buyer. Take/send that sucker back to him

You can get the dual diaphragm brake booster and master cylinder at most parts stores,i bought mine at Autozone both with a lifetime warranty.

Most of the vendors here have the vacuum block for the TTA that has the vacuum port for the brakes.

The only part you will need to get from a salvage yard is a brake pedal from a G body car that has vacuum brakes from the factory.

A section of 5/16" vacuum/emission hose 18" long and 2 clamps - the clamps are optional but i like to be safe so i use them.

Nothing to fabricate but i did have to bend the brake lines by hand just a bit to hook them up to the master cylinder.

That is it.

I'ld call Kirbans, nothing to loose by speaking with them...

If you decide to do the conversion as i suggested above you will save at least $100.00 over the kits being offered at various places plus you will have a lifetime warranty on the booster/master cylinder so you never have to pay again.

Lots of ways to do things it just depends on how much you want to spend and how often.;)
