As norbs pointed out. Liquid/Air intercoolers are pretty much totally impractical for a street driven daily driver. Even if you have a seperate heat exchanger (radiator) (like the sy/ty uses) to cool the intercooler's liquid, it can only be cooled so much and the efficiency will suffer badly.
If you're unfortunate enough to have a liquid/air intercooler that doesn't have a way to chill the liquid, then you'd be running an inter"heater" not intercooler. You'd be better off without an intercooler.
Stay away from the ATR unit.
For a race only vehicle Nothing can beat a good liquid/air intercooler. But the liquid/ice is changed on every run.
For a street car, you have a couple of choices depending on just how much you want to cool the charge air. SLIC will work nicely, but front mounts will cool substantially better, but will need a good cooling system to mitigate any overheating.
