Looking to upgrade rear suspension I just got Lakewoods new lift bars(lower control arms) from summit ,now i need a sway bar. Does anyone have BMRs 1.5 sway bar, as opposed to ATRs 1 3/8 ? Is 1/8" make that much of a difference?

Is 1/8" make that much of a difference?
The stiffness of a sway bar is proportional to the diameter to the fourth power. So, a 1-1/2" bar would be about 40% stiffer than a 1-3/8" bar IF THEY ARE OTHERWISE THE SAME GEOMETRY. Herb Adams bars don't mount the same as the stock bar, or as the ATR bar. Wolfe bars don't mount the same, ect. So, depending on how the BMR bar mounts, that 1/8" might make a diff, but maybe not. The ATR bar, just for reference, is about six times (6 times!) as stiff as the stock bar. Good for drag races, but not likely to improve your time in a slalom race.
