anyone recommend an excellent engine builder and/or
machine shop in the Augusta, GA area.

i have heard of most of the local shops, but not sure if they are good w/ these kind of motors.
willing to travel for someone is good.

Benny Bennett, he's in Harlem. I spent a couple hours with him yesterday, now that I've spent some time with him no else in this area will touch my car. He's been working on TR's since 88....... has built lots of impressive buicks. pm if you need his number....

i have met benny and have his number.
was looking into local machine shops familiar with turbo buicks.

Billy at K&P Machine shop.

None better with 109 block Buick knowledge than K+P. They refer to the 109 motors as "little grenades". Not by what they do but what many of the owners do getting boost happy and greedy! :eek:
 
Carolina Machine Engines, do great work, and dont charge you thru the nose.1-800-90engin, Johnston, SC. 19miles north of Augusta.
