Any of you guys ever have a vehicle transported. I'm looking at buying a truck and may not be able to go pick it up and was just wondering what the cost would be to have something like that done. What are some companies that do this? The truck is on the west coast and I'm on the east coast.

There are hundreds of companies that do this. An internet search will get you started.

Just for comparison's sake:

Back in 2002 when I had my 84 Z28 shipped from CA to WI, it cost me about $800. It was via an open hauler (enclosed would have been significantly higher).

FedEx is a sure bet no doubt but they will charge more usually. Reliable is top shelf. There are many husband and wife run places that are very reputable as well. Look thru a Hemmings magazine, there are dozens. Btw, that red TR is wicked!

You ain't putting a pick up in a rolling parkinglot. You will be charged for two spots in the trailer if they can't put something above it. Alone you are looking at $12-1800.
